Today, Firmaka come to learn with you how to solve the disconnection label of the sticker labeling machine.
1. The label edge width is not enough
After the self-adhesive label is die-cut into a finished product, the backing paper is generally left wider than the label. This is to facilitate the uncovering when the customer labels. During the transportation and handling of label packaging, it is easy to crack the backing paper on the edge of the label to cause small nicks. The automatic labeling machine has a certain tension when labeling, and the label with a slit on the edge of the backing paper is easily pulled under the effect of tension to cause the label to break. In addition, there is also a case where the roller adjustment on the automatic labeling machine is inappropriate, which causes the roller to rupture the backing paper at the edge of the label and cause the label to break. Generally, when the label is broken due to the roller pressing the bottom paper, the crack of the bottom paper is more regular.
2. Label rewinding is too tight
If the rewinding of the finished label is too tight, the adhesive in the sticker will be squeezed out and cause bleeding, and the exuding glue will stick to the back of the backing paper, making the entire roll of labels difficult to loosen. This is especially true in summer. If the label is relatively narrow, the tensile strength per unit area will not be too large. Automatic labeling machine has a certain tension during the labeling process. When a roll of labels with glue bleeding is used for automatic labeling, it is likely that the label's backing paper is pulled off during the labeling process due to the tension of the labeling machine and the tension from the inside of the roll. Causes broken labels. In this case, because of the breaking of the label, the bottom paper breaks irregularly because it is pulled by tension, but the fracture surface is relatively uniform.
3. The label cutting is bad
The quality of die-cutting also has a great impact on whether the automatic labeling is easy to break. If the die-cutting pressure is too large, the bottom paper will be cut through and the tensile strength of the bottom paper will be reduced, which will cause the label to break. The cut surface of the label break tape caused by poor die cutting is relatively uniform, and the crack is at the position of the die cutting line.
4. The bottom label is damaged
If the release layer (usually the silicone oil layer) of the backing paper is damaged, the labeling tape will also be broken. In this case, the broken surface of the labeling tape is jagged. The reasons for the damage of the release layer include defects in the production and coating of raw materials, and at the same time, the release layer may be scratched due to improper methods in the process of inspection and supplementary printing by the printing factory.
